Your mental health care is meant to be individualized.

Approaching mental health care through self-led wellness

I strive to provide quality mental health care to individuals and families I work with. I am committed to continued and ongoing education and training; to advocacy of diversity, equity, and inclusion; and to consistent and ongoing self-care practices.

As a first-generation Puerto Rican - American, I identify as Latina and am bilingual. And as a native Spanish speaker, I have the ability to work with individuals whose primary language is Spanish.

My therapeutic approach and style are empathic, strengths-based and supportive. I enjoy and appreciate the opportunities to guide my clients in building self-awareness and practicing self-compassion. I believe that this approach creates a strong foundation for clients to care for their mental health needs, and experience self-led wellness.

An eclectic approach

It’s essential for clients to receive individualized and personalized mental health care. Rather than do things the same way with every individual or family system, I am grounded in an eclectic approach to support individual and family needs. My clinical practice draws from a variety of treatment modalities which are primarily informed by but not limited to: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBT), and Yoga-Informed psychotherapy.
